Donation to School for Visually Impaired Children "Prof. Ivan Shishmanov" - Varna.

On May 15, 2014 Presidents of RC Varna, Varna-Galatea and RC Varna-Euxinograd Milcho Bliznakov Ivan Tabakov and Lubomir Gospodinov along with Past President of RC Sofia Vitosha Ilia Iliev, delivered to the school for blind children in Varna "Prof. Dr. Ivan Shishmanov "donation of 8 specialized kits drawing TactiPad and consumables for use for two years of upper sets worth 2720 Euros.
During exciting celebration in the presence of more than 40 children who will use these special kits for blind children, the donation was delivered to the director of the school Mrs. Petkova.
Iliya Iliev from RC Sofia Vitosha witn a pathetic speech told how their club is organized and made ​​this donation and also for the children in such a school in Sofia and how Rotarians enthusiasm was so great that he decided to expand the project to the only other such the second school in Bulgaria, this in Varna. Having connected with friends RC Varna, who then included in the project the other two clubs in the city of Varna RC Varna-Euxinograd and RC Varna Galatea, all without much speculation accepted unanimously the idea and joined in the financing and implementation of the project.
Donors in the face of Club presidents were donated with handmade and painted by the students of the school souvenirs and director Ms. Petkova, handed each club certificate for their donation. Finally one of the sets was opened for drawing and one of the students, made ​​the first attempt to use it and expressed his admiration for the ease with which it works and how many different tasks can be performed with the help of it. Thanks were said by the longtime math teacher at the school, so all teachers expressed their gratitude and satisfactions that the School is donated with eight sets drawing TactiPad, which cover the needs of an entire class because it is not possible in time to divide the children some to work, while others just watch.
The celebration ended with a folk song that one of the students with singing talent sang in gratitude to the donors. Presidents of Rotary clubs declared themselves ready in the future to support the learning process of blind children in the school for children with NRC "Prof. Ivan Shishmanov" Varna.
Rotarians of the 4 Rotary club, leaving share that this project is an excellent example of a true finding the right communities and groups in society who most need help, and that the project is an example of cooperation between different Rotary clubs from one or more locations.
